Since we've reached the season where keeping your skin moisturized is a daily task, in this issue we'll show you how to make your own homemade lip balm!  Also you'll find a project where you can have fun with your bath products and make your own shaving cream artwork.

We've been working hard the last few weeks to bring you some great new products!  Spread smiles this season with homemade candles, soaps, and now lip balm!

Project Idea: Homemade Lip Balm

This is the best lip balm recipe that I've tried. It's really fun and easy to make your own lip balm at home. Homemade lip balm makes a great gift!

All you need are the following supplies:

  • Crafter's Touch Lip Balm Base (1 part shea butter, 1 part cocoa butter, 1 part beeswax, 2 parts sweet almond oil)
  • Flavor Oil (if desired)
  • Lip Safe Mica (if desired)
  • Lip Balm Pots or Tubes
  • Sauce Pan & Stovetop or Microwave & Microwave Safe Dish
  • Pipettes

  • Paper towels
  • Baking sheet
