Supply List

  • Paraffin Wax
  • Silk Rose Petals
  • Fragrance Oil of Your Choice
  • Waxed Paper

  • Double Boiler (it's easier for dipping if you double boiler is shallow.)
  • Tweezers
  • Small Fan (optional)

  1. Melt your paraffin wax in the double boiler.
  2. When your wax has completely melted, add your fragrance oil. Add about 1 ounce per pound of wax. Stir throughly.
  3. Remove the wax from the heat.
  4. Spread out a sheet of waxed paper on the counter. This is where you will be placing the dipped petals.
  5. Use your tweezers to carefully dip a petal in the melted wax. Always be very very cautious around hot wax.
  6. With the tweezers, remove the petal. If you have a small fan, hold the petal in front of the fan for a couple of seconds. This will help the wax dry quickly and prevent any inperfections in the wax.
  7. Gently place the petal on the waxed paper and continue dipping petals until you're finished.
